Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) Weekend is a hands-on, outdoor skills workshop designed for women ages 18 and older of all experience levels. Whether you’re a beginner looking to try something new or someone who enjoys the outdoors and wants to build on your skills, BOW offers a welcoming, supportive environment to learn, connect, and have fun.

Please Read Before Registering for BOW Weekend 2025 – August 15–17
Registration Fee: $200
• You will receive an email within one week of registering with details about class selection.
• Class selection will be open from June 25 at 9:00 AM through July 1 at 4:00 PM.
• T-shirt sizes cannot be exchanged at the event.
• If registering for a fishing class, you must have a valid Kentucky fishing license purchased before the event.
• Full refunds are available through August 1. No refunds will be issued after that date, and registrations are non-transferable.
• Lodging includes onsite cabins/bunkhouses. You may also bring a tent or hammock or arrange hotel accommodations at your own expense.
• Pack for outdoor conditions—rain or shine—including durable clothing, rain gear, and personal items like a water bottle, flashlight, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
• Cafeteria-style meals will be provided (except Sunday lunch). Refrigerator space is available for special dietary needs, but staff will not prepare special meals.

You’ll get instruction in small group settings, all while surrounded by the beauty of Kentucky’s natural landscape.
The weekend includes:
• Three days of outdoor/indoor classes
• Lodging in bunkhouses or cabins (with the option to tent or hammock camp)
• Cafeteria-style meals (except Sunday lunch)
• A relaxed, supportive atmosphere to meet new friends and try new things
